The TODA NSX oil pump gear reduces the chance of oil pump failure during high rpm conditions. The standard oil pump is sufficent for stock engines, but when the redline is raised or the engine is modified, stock oil pump gears tend to expand beyond normal tolerance, get stuck, and shatter. This sudden loss of oil pressure may cause catastrophic engine damage.
